A SAHM's weekly schedule

Having a weekly schedule can help with all the tasks that face a Stay-at-Home Mom. This is the schedule I currently have, after 10 years of lots of trial & error!

Monday - Cleaning (Whole House Cleaning: Bathrooms, My Bedroom, Kitchen Mopping, Vacuuming, and Launder Towels & Sheets). A friend and I switch babysitting for a couple hours, which makes this possible.

Tuesday
- Shopping & Errands.

Wednesday - Home Projects / Organizing.

Thursday
- Kid Activities (we go to the library for story-time, and then to the park).

Friday - Laundry - all clothing, and folding. Ironing & Mending.

Saturday - Family Fun Activities & Projects.

Sunday - Church, Family Rest & Visiting.

When my kids were little, and we didn't really go anywhere, then a schedule of one cleaning task per day worked better. This schedule works good for us now, because it was too stressful to try and do our cleaning on Saturdays, in addition to the family activities we wanted to do.

Coming soon, each day will get it's own post to break down what we do and how we (try to) get it done!

Ready for the Rollercoaster

Ups and downs, twists and turns. Being a Stay-At-Home Mom is truly like a roller coaster where you will experience the highest highs, and lowest lows (and a lot of bumpiness in the middle). So get on. Will you enjoy the ride? Or will you feel sick, and want desperately to get off? Yes. You will.
